Jewel of the Bavarian Alps
"He whom God loves, He drops into this land!“ With
these words Ludwig Ganghofer, a famous German novelist, aptly
showed his admiration for this privileged spot of land, formerly
Germany's smallest principality.The Berchtesgadener Land,
as it is termed today, boasts some of the most stunning mountain
panoramas in the German Alps and is famed for its National
Park in the heart of which lies "the king's lake":
Königssee. But what makes the Berchtesgaden area so different
from other mountain resorts is that, apart from the natural
beauty it possesses, it offers visitors an overwhelming variety
of historic sights to visit and fun things to do. |

Eagles
Nest
Located at an elevation of 1834m, the "Eagle's Nest”
offers a stupendous view of the Berchtesgadener Land.The building
can be accessed with special busses from mid-May through October.
Near the bus departure area, the Obersalzberg Documentation
Center houses an informative and extensive exhibit on the
history of Obersalzberg. |

Königssee
Cruises
Like a fjord in the heart of Berchtesgaden's National Park,
lies picturesque Lake Königssee. A cruise across its
clear emerald waters to the pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomew
and the former hunting lodge of the Bavarian kings is an unforgettable
experience. |

| Vacation
apartment No. 1
Our vacation apartment No. 1 is located in the first floor
of the house. It is as large as 50 square meters and in
such a way suitable for 2 to 4 adults or for 2 adults and
2 children. The apartment consists of the kitchen, living-/dining-room,
two bedrooms and shower with toilet. There is also an extra
toilet. The flat is furnitured comfortably and conveniently.
The equipment of the kitchen is of great variety. There
are also cable TV, hifi set and telephone of your own. If
required a folding bed or a collapsible cot can be made
available for you. In case of need there are also children’s
chairs for infants. Two balconies in the Southwest and in
the West belong to the flat.
A carpark is straight in front of the house.
If
desired there may be a roll service from 6 AM on. |

apartment No. 2
Our vacation apartment No. 2 is located in the first floor
of the house. It is as large as 40 square meters and suitable
for 1 to 2 adults. If required a folding bed or a collapsible
cot can be placed in the bedroom. The apartment has got
an entrance hall, a kitchen, a living-/dining-room, a bedroom
and a shower with toilet. The flat is furnitured comfortably
and conveniently.
The
equipment of the kitchen is of great variety. You will also
find cable TV, a radio CD player and telephone of your own.
In case of need there is also a children’s chair for
an infant. The flat has got three balconies in the Southeast,
in the West and in the Northwest. A carpark is straight
in front of the house.

desired there may be a roll service from 6 AM on. |

Location
Our house in Berchtesgaden is characterized by its quiet,
central and sunny site. In just a few minutes you may walk
to the centre, the bus stop, the heated swimming-pool, the
Kneipp facilities, the crosscountry skiing centre, the ice
rink, the salt-mine as well as to the water fun and thermal
bath “Watzmann-Therme”.
In summer as well as in winter there is a great choice of
possibilities for making sightseeing tours, going for excursions
or just wandering around. |

If you´d like to make a tour we’ll be pleased
to give you some advice. We ‘re looking forward to
